What to bring on your Glamping holiday
Your Glamping essentials:
Bedding: Bedding is not provided unless specified (for example with our Winter Warmer Package), please ask us if you are unsure. When bedding isn’t provided the main bed will be made up with a mattress protector. You will need to bring sheets, duvets or sleeping bags and pillows.
Towels: You will need to bring towels for the shower and a hand towels. The shower rooms are both fully heated as well as having heated towel rails and hair dryers.
Torches: At least one good powerful torch is essential as it can be very dark at night and trying to make your way across the yurt field at night without one can be very difficult.
Wellies: Even during the driest spells the grass will always be wet in the mornings so a pair of wellingtons are a year-round essential. And you will be glad of them if walking down to the village across the fields as livestock can be very messy!
The nice to haves:
Slippers: For wearing inside the yurts. Outdoor footwear is not permitted inside the yurts, so bringing some slippers, or other easy to get on and off footwear will make everything much more comfortable especially during the months in Winter.
Camping Lanterns: The yurts all have electricity and are lit by fairy lights and floor lamps which create a wonderfully relaxing environment inside the yurts, but you may wish to bring your own camping lanterns for when you are sitting outside the yurt or around the campfire.
Citronella candles: We are fortunate not to be plague with midges but these can make a great difference to an evening round the campfire to keep the flying critters at bay.
Charcoal & BBQ tools: Each yurt has it’s own charcoal BBQ outside plus there is one for all to use next to the pizza oven. Please note however that we do not provide charcoal or tools, however both can be bought locally. Or why not hire our campfire cookware.
