Strawberry Skys Terms and Conditions
Please read the following carefully before you make a booking. When you make a booking you are agreeing to our terms. 

Booking and Payments
We require £50 (per yurt) non refundable deposit/down payment to secure the booking.
All bookings are provisional until confirmed by Strawberry Skys Yurts
The balance must be paid within 6 weeks of arrival. If arrival is within 6 weeks of booking then full payment is required to secure the booking.
Strawberry Skys Yurts reserves the right to cancel any booking if payment deadlines are not met.
Any discount codes must be entered at the time of booking and can not be added on after.

Security Deposit
For group bookings we may ask for a security deposit of which will be held on the payment card from the day before arrival and released after departure and once the site has been checked, providing no damage has been caused, items missing or excessive cleaning is required.
If you do break, damage or spill anything please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can make arrangements to replace or repair it for the next guests. 

Cancellations and Insurance
In the event of you needing to change your dates or cancel your holiday please contact us immediately. Any cancellations or changes must be confirmed via email by the person named on the booking. As we are a small business we can not offer refunds. However if your holiday is over 6 weeks away we will be happy to move your dates within 6 months, free of charge. If your holiday is within 6 weeks please contact us immediately if you need to cancel. Deposit payments are non refundable and any refunds offered are at our discretion and may incur an administration fee of up to £30.
Strawberry Skys Yurts are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots, or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”).
We strongly recommend that all guests take out adequate holiday insurance before they book to cover cancellation, public liability, personal belongings etc.
We can not be held responsible for severe weather conditions, if the weather makes it unsafe for guests stay we will inform you as soon as possible and rearrange your stay subject to availability. We will not accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss under.
If your booking is through a third party website then please make sure you have fully read their terms and conditions.
Strawberry Skys Yurts reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel bookings, or instruct people to leave the site (for example dangerous weather conditions, or inappropriate behaviour by guests). 

Group Bookings
The person named on the booking is responsible for the booking and any payments. It is essential that the person named on the booking passes on all relevant information to everyone in the group including these terms and conditions, what to bring and directions to the site. If anyone in the group fails to adhere to our terms and condition the entire group may be asked to leave and no refund will be given. If making a booking for multiple yurts you must ensure that you do not exceed the maximum number of people for each yurt as stated on our website and that at least one guest in each yurt is over 21 years old.

Arrival
Access to the site and the yurts is from 4pm to 8pm. Please do not arrive before 4pm unless you have agreed this with us in advance. Please let us know your approximate time of arrive at least one day before you travel and advise us on the day if you are going to be later than planned. We will always try to ensure someone is here to greet you and show you to your yurt, however if this isn’t possible we will let you know in advance. We strongly advise that all guests arrive before dark to make it easier to navigate around the site.
You will be emailed a link to our digital Information Pack prior to your stay which can be up loaded to your phone and tablet and forward to the other guests in your group. This pack contains information about the site, the facilities and important fire safety guidelines which must be read by everyone.

Departure
You must vacate the site by 10am on the day of your departure. If you would like a later check-out time then please ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
The yurts and site must be left exactly as it was when you arrived. All futons should be put back in their upright position and all rubbish should be disposed of correctly. The kitchen and loos should be left clean and tidy, with all crockery washed and put away. Please turn off ALL lights before you leave. If we are in when you leave and you would like to say goodbye then feel free to pop down to the house but we won’t be offended if you don’t.

Dogs
We welcome well behaved, clean, friendly dogs if booked in advance. We only allow a maximum of four dogs onsite at one time. Please be aware that this is a working smallholding and a family friendly site, dogs that stay here MUST be used to children, other animals (including chickens, cats and sheep) and other dogs. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Under no circumstances are dogs allowed on ANY of the furniture including the futons and chairs. Excessive cleaning or damage will be charged for. Dogs are not allowed inside the kitchen or toilet facilities. They are permitted in the covered seating area outside the kitchen however please be mindful of other guests that may not like dogs. You must clean up dog mess immediately and place it in the dog waste bin. Please do not leave your dog unattended while on the site, especially inside the yurts.

Damage and Breakages
Please report and damage, breakages or spills so that these can be attended to before the next guests arrive. While we do understand that accidents happen and a degree of wear and tear is to be accepted any breakages, damage or excessive cleaning will be invoiced to the person named on the booking.  

Noise
We request that noise be kept to a minimum after 10pm, this means no amplified music, singing, shouting or dogs barking. Groups must ensure that everyone adheres to this. Any complaints received about noise from guests will be taken seriously.

Children
We believe that children should be able to enjoy the freedom our site offers and have fun when here. Please be aware of the dangers onsite such as uneven ground, raised platforms and the woodshed. You are responsible for your child safety and Strawberry Skys can no be held liable for any incident involving children. Children should not be left unsupervised especially around the campfire and woodburner. Please do not let children cross over the boundaries to the neighbouring fields, the garden or woodland.

Day Guests/Visitors
If you wish to have visitors during your stay you must have pre-approved from us by email before you arrive. Visitors must adhere to these terms and conditions. They will also be subject to an additional charge and must leave the site by 9pm.

The Site and Yurts
Our site is set on a hill so a degree of physical fitness is required. We provide wheelbarrows/trollies for transporting your belongs and wood up to your yurt. As the kitchen area is shared we ask you to please clean up after yourself and try to accommodate the usage of others. All rubbish MUST be sorted and placed in the correct recycling bins provided. Outdoor shoes must not be worn inside the yurt, for this reason we advise you to bring slippers or other easy to kick off footwear.
The yurts, kitchen, patio and toilets are all no smoking/no vaping areas. No candles, paraffin lanterns or naked flames are allowed inside the yurts or kitchen.

Your Property
Your property and personal belongings are your responsibility, please keep your valuables with you at all times. We can not be held responsible for loss or damage to property or vehicles while onsite. Any property left behind after checkout will be donated to charity or disposed of within 5 days if not claimed. Cost of the postage and packaging to return items will need to be paid for by the guest.

Fire and General Safety
Each yurt has a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. Fireguards can be provided for the woodburners upon request. Firewood is provided with no additional charge and represents a significant cost to ourselves, we therefore ask our guests to be respectful of this by only burning what is required. Campfires must be kept small and manageable and never leave the campfire or wood burner unattended. All guests MUST read and follow the fire safety guide in the welcome pack. We take every care to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable holiday, but cannot be held liable for any accidents, personal injury, loss or damage or consequential loss during your stay.

Gift Vouchers and Competition Prizes
If you are lucky enough to have been given a gift voucher or win a stay with us please be aware of the following; these relate to both vouchers and prizes issued by Strawberry Skys. They have no cash value and can not be returned in exchange for cash. They are subject to availability so please be aware of the expiry date given. Competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. Vouchers and prizes are not transferable. We reserve the right to cancel vouchers and prizes without notice in the event of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots, or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”).
Strawberry Skys Yurts reserves the right to change or amend these booking terms at any time.

And one last thing…..
The yurts are situated down a rough track which is steep towards the bottom. It is passable for vehicles with normal ground clearance but not for low profile sports cars, or in adverse weather such as snow and ice. If you are at all concerned then please leave your car by the gate, call us and we will collect you.
